Developer’s Log: May 15

A week after I said I wouldn’t be doing weekly logs, here’s this weeks log.

Last Weeks Progress:

  • Made a good amount of headway in creating the 2nd stage. Getting a handle on skill of level design.
  • More importantly, I created tiles for the platforms and obstacles. I had the idea of making these objects look like beadwork but wasn’t sure how well it would work. I came up with a way to do this to see how it would look and the result was surprisingly good. Not only did I manage to make the pixels look like beads, but it’s visually striking too. The tiles could possibly use some more details, but as a base I’m quite proud of it.

This Weeks Goals:

  • More level design mostly.
